Scientist set to decode influenza genome

Article Abstract:

A government research venture is launched to help the scientist gain a better understanding of how influenza virus strains evolve and how to develop more effective vaccines against them. The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR) is developing new protocols and the means for rapid sequencing of influenza virus genomes.
