Should doctors help patients die?

Article Abstract:

A majority of people who responded to a survey about the morality of physician-assisted suicide support the practice. The ethical belief is based in part on personal experience or similar societal practices. The minority who oppose it believe it is murder and it violates the Hippocratic oath.

Are fertitlity doctors going to far?

Ethical, health and legal issues regarding high-tech baby-making are currently catching public attention. The public would like to know how long would the McCaughey septuplets remain healthy and how far fertility doctors would set aside ethical considerations in favor of profit.

Why doctors won't help battered women

Article Abstract:

Many doctors are reluctant to question female victims of domestic violence, possibly because of time constraints or an unwillingness to confront their own abusive behavior. The American Medical Assn has created guidelines for physicians.
