Patients and families have welcomed the shift from the traditional method of using 'prone restraint' on patients with mental health problems to 'SCIP' - Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention. It was introduced by the North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus.

Training places are slashed in Wales
Article Abstract:
A report reveals that the training places for pre- and post-registration nursing students are cut by 17 percent in Wales for the financial year 2008. The Wales Assembly has determined to slash 220 pre-registration and approximately 40 post-registration places.
