Article Abstract:

Men can help reduce the chances of a heart attack by exercising the heart, which is a muscle. Aerobic exercise helps the heart grow larger, pump more blood per beat and pump more slowly. A six-week cardiovascular fitness program that uses biking, rowing and skiing machines is described.
