Successful interview strategies

Article Abstract:

The manager, staff and department educator should all participate in the hiring of new employees. The manager can reject the candidate before the staff interview if the candidate's qualifications are not suitable. Interviewers should check references and ask candidates about previous jobs. Establishing rapport with the candidate is essential. The candidate should also be interviewed by more than one person.

It's a Match!

Article Abstract:

Interviewing applicants for a nursing position requires many important skills on the part of the interviewer. The interviewer should establish a good rapport with the applicant to ensure a successful interview. The interviewer should ask only appropriate questions, notice inconsistencies in answers, and read body signs that communicate confidence, stress, or nervousness.
