Issues concerning the importance for nurses to take notes during their practice in order to improve the care standards of their patients are discussed. Particular attention is given to techniques of note taking and ot descriptions of the National Health Service's patient records.

Everybody happy? Constructing an off-duty rota can be a nightmare

Article Abstract:

There are many challenges associated with devising an off-duty rota for nurses. Self-rostering can be effective, but is not necessarily suitable for every ward. However, some National Health Service trusts are experimenting with self-rostering.
