Target training: bring up your rear delts with the bent-over lateral raise

Strengthening the rear deltoids is an effective way to limit the forward rotation of the shoulder, as well as boosting the musculature of the whole shoulder girdle. Seated bent-over dumbbell laterals are generally the best rear-delt exercise.
