The SPICE study: 48-week activity of combinations of saquinavir soft gelatin and nelfinavir with and without nucleoside analogues

Article Abstract:

Quadruple therapy with saquinavir, nelfinavir and two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors appears to be more effective in treating HIV infection than triple therapy with only one protease inhibitors. Steady state pharmacokinetics of saquinavir hard-gel/ritonavir/fosamprenavir in HIV-1-infected patients

Article Abstract:

The evaluation of steady-state pharmacokinetics of saquinavir 1000mg twice daily and fosamprenavir 700mg bid administered with 2 different doses of ritonavir in HIV-1-infected subjects is done. The coadministration of these resulted in statistically nonsignificant decrease in saquinavir exposure compared with baseline.
