Medicaid revisited--Skirmishes over a vast public enterprise
Article Abstract:
The new medicaed policies signed into law on February 8, 2006, as part of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 are described. This act permits states to impose more cost-sharing on beneficiaries, reduce benefits, and deny nursing home benefits to persons with substantial equity in their homes.
