The role of ACE inhibitor therapy in treating cardiovascular disease

Article Abstract:

The Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme (ACE) that are used in management of variety of cardiovascular disorders have also established their significance in hypertension, heart failure, stoke prevention, managing asymptomatic and symptomatic left-ventricular dysfunction, and diabetes. As a part of multidisciplinary team, the nurses should have knowledge of various aspects of these drugs and be responsible enough to educate, support, and encourage the patient and their family about its usage.

Identifying and managing the complications of diabetes

Article Abstract:

The cost and damage by diabetic complications due to type 1 and type 2 diabetes are described. Preventive measures of type 1 and type 2 diabetes are discussed along with nursing implications of caring for patients who already have damage and are helping to prevent it in others.
