Prilosec, Nexium and Sterioisomers

Article Abstract:

Clinical testing reveals that drug sterioisomers of the old drugs differ from each other and from the racemic mixture of the two in their pharmacokinetics, activity and toxicity. Data indicate that the S-isomer levofloxacin is better than the racemic ofloxacin. The effectiveness as claimed by pharmaceutical manufacturers are not substantiated.
