Transplantation of CD34 human cells into mice with severe combined immunodeficiency results in functional T cells 4 weeks after transplantation

Article Abstract:

CD34+ cells seem to be the most effective in restoring an immune response in mice with severe combined immunodeficiency. In a study of mice who received CD34+ cells or CD34- cells, the CD34+ cells were the most effective in producing a functional T cell response 4 weeks after transplantation.
