Transplantation tolerance: babies take the first step
Article Abstract:
The tolerance of transplantation levels in human beings suggest that babies accept transplants from donors of different blood groups but is found to be dangerous in adults. An experiment done on 13 infants suggest that a majority of infants do not develop antibodies specific to the A, B and O type of the transplanted organ but did develop antibodies to other blood groups, as they get older.

A crucial role for antigen-presenting cells and alloantigen expression in graft-versus-leukemia responses
Article Abstract:
The use of a series of clinically relevant mouse graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) tumor models, it is revealed that antigen-presenting cells (APC) and alloantigen expression on tumors are crucial for GVL. Moreover, APCs of host origin predominated in GVL responses although donor APCs contributed as the acuity of tumor burden decreased.
