Symbiotic arrangements as a challenge to antitrust

Article Abstract:

Recent research has looked critically at the current European and German approach to antitrust law in the context of dealing with symbiotic arrangements. It was found that the creation or strengthening or a leading market position and the restriction of the market by raising higher barriers to entry are the key issues in this field. The research has put forward possible conceptual changes in the antitrust treatment of symbiotic arrangements.

Reaching for the stars

Article Abstract:

Instead of motivating people to attain fame or be as glamorous, the pervasive culture of movie stars and tabloid celebrities creates unattainable ideals and encourages the notion that celebrities are better than ordinary people in every aspect of life.
