Using action learning to support and develop the role of matrons

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust is using action learning approach for implementation of programme to support and develop the role of its 12 matrons. This has boosted the matronsE competencies and confidence as well as instilled a spirit of group work among them for tackling the issues that affect the organization as a whole.
