A gene promotes anxiety in mice -- and also in scientists
Article Abstract:

Cytomegalovirus US2 destroys two components of the MHC class II pathway, preventing recognition by CD4+ cells
Article Abstract:
The US2 protein of cytomegalovirus abolishes the ability of cells to present viral antigens to T lymphocytes by destroying two MHC class II proteins. This allows the virus to escape detection by the immune system.
