Article Abstract:

The Building Research Establishment (BRE) has prepared a new guidance document illustrating simple and cost effective ways of dealing with radon in the workplace. The presence of radon gas is not directly related to work activity but it is still important to maintain a healthy working environment. The guidance incorporates case studies of offices, factories, shops, a primary school, a doctor's surgery and a hostel.
