You can't unring a bell

Article Abstract:

A letter written by a suffering father who is also a physician by profession trying to reassure her daughter who later was diagnosed positive for having a breast cancer, ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), is discussed. He transformed from father to consulting physician smoothly and without hesitation and his daughter was consoled by active coping, consulting colleagues, consulting her physicians, reading and research.
