Decisions on innovation and diffusion and the limits of deregulation
Article Abstract:
Decisions on non-generation, application and diffusion of innovations are shown to be primarily influenced by arrangements involving a small group of powerful companies. The delay and suppression of innovations have detrimental effects on the national economy, the ecosphere, society and individuals. Innovations that maximize the profits of the top companies are favored rather than those that contribute broad social benefits. This happens without considering the negative effects on society and the national economy.

Three forms of innovation resistance: the case of retail payment methods
Article Abstract:
Situational and personality factors need to be considered with respect to consumer resistance. Full payer credit card users who exhibited the adaptive cognitive style, perceive debit cards to be highly disadvantageous. Consumers perceive the credit card as more beneficial and convenient than the debit card. Consumer resistance findings only imply that appropriate products that provide significant consumer incentives and benefits need to be developed by the credit and debit card industries.

Performance analysis of technology using the S curve model: the case of digital signal processing (DSP) technologies
Article Abstract:
Digital signal processing (DSP) technology can be used in various industrial enterprises and will be widespread. DSP technology is widely used in information science and communication technologies. The S curve model was used to study the technology performance of DSPs which features exponential increases in performances. Based on the existing relationships between the diffusion, life cycle and S models, DSP technologies will prolong the life cycle of products using such technology.
