Intersector technology cooperation: hard myths, soft facts
Article Abstract:
Empirical data enables us to challenge a variety of myths surrounding intersector and cross-sector technology cooperation and their effectivity in promoting global competitiveness. Myths surrounding cooperation between university and industry; university and government; and industry and government overlook the root causes influencing the outcomes of such cross-sector ventures. Intersector cooperation usually provides positive results for all parties involved but myths obscure and oversimplify the root causes of this success.

Channels of R&D spillovers: an empirical investigation of Swiss firms
Article Abstract:
A study that is designed to seek additional empirical facts on research and development (R&D) spillovers have shown that R&D spillovers are potentially a primary source of endogenous growth in various recent new growth theory models. Results were collected from a survey conducted among 358 Swiss R&D executives representing 127 different lines of business, majority of which is in the manufacturing sector.
