Understanding the process of knowledge transfer to achieve successful technological innovation
Article Abstract:
A conceptual model is proposed to allow organizations to effectively manage technological innovations using organizational and technological literature. The model analyzes the different steps involved in technological innovation, namely, acquisition, communication, application and assimilation, to devise strategies that will encourage learning throughout the organization. It may also be used as a comparative tool for differentiating between learning processes in an organization.

On the definition and measurement of technological discontinuities
Article Abstract:
Most of the researchers who have studied technological change failed to establish certain concepts and definitions that will help explain the different factors that influence technological discontinuities. This underscores the need for a simple model that will enable researchers to measure the magnitude of technological change using established criteria. The model should be capable of analyzing the different dimensions that give rise to technological change.

Technological discontinuities and media patterns: assessing electric vehicle batteries
Article Abstract:
S-curves and technology cycles proved to be useful in the assessment of innovation theory. Results of a study of electrochemical technologies in the emerging electric vehicle industry showed that understanding of s-curves and technology cycles is highly significant in interpreting test data. Usage of s-curves and technology cycles frameworks lead to interpretations that were straightforward and consistent with the literature.
