Ann Reinking, born on November 10, 1949, is considered to be one of the finest dancers in the jazz-modern idiom and one of the most interesting things about her is the joy she brings to dancing and performing, which is transmitted to the audience. Reinking, who has identified herself as a 'musical performer,' studied classical ballet as an adolescent and teenager; her training in dance for musical theater began on the job in 1968, at Radio City Music Hall.

Environmental activist and writer, Winona LaDuke born in the eastern section of Los Angeles, California in 1959, is one of the most prominent advocates for Native Americans in the United States. She organized the first 'Honor the Earth' tour, featuring the Indigo Girls and raised $250,000 for grassroots Native American environmental organizations, which was followed by three more tours, in 1995, 19997 and 2000.
