The experiences of British rock band Coldplay, and the awards that they bagged while creating soulful and passionate music and topping various albums and charts, are discussed. The band, unlike other bands that are busy cramming many genres into each song, revels in the joys of simple and graceful melody and is successful both in US and Britain.

Chipper Jones

A biography is presented of Atlanta Braves baseball player, Chipper Jones, who played for the Atlanta Braves Single-A minor-league team, straight out of high school. By the time he was 23, Jones was selected to play in the Braves' major-league team, but spent his first season on the bench because of a knee injury.
