A biography is presented of singer-songwriter D'Angelo, who was born Michael D'Angelo Archer, the son and grandson of preachers in Richmond, Virginia. Like one of his favouraite musicians, Prince, D'Angelo played almost all of the instruments on his album, "Brown Sugar," which was critically well-received.

An overview is presented of the life to date of United States football player Marvin Harrison. Born in Pennsylvania in 1972, Harrison excelled at both basketball and football through high school, yet at 6 feet tall, he is considered to be relatively small for a wide receiver.
