Fairport Convention

Fairport Convention, which was considered the most important British folk-rock band of the late 1960s has redefined modern fold, through both original compositions and rearrangements of British folk music from as long ago as the Middle Ages. Fairport Convention was among the first British bands to play traditional folk songs in a rock context combining acoustic and electric instruments and furious rock drumming.

Grant 'Daddy G' Marshall and Robert '3D' del Naja are the remaining original members of the British music group Massive Attack, which is widely credited with developing the genre known as 'trip-hop'. An innovative fusion of hip-hop raps, swirling strings, R&B vocals, and samples. Trip-hop became one of the most popular forms of dance music in the 1990s.

Destiny's Child
