British politician, John Profumo, is remembered more for his sensational political scandal of the 20th century than his dedication to public service. Following the disgrace and Conservative Party's loss to Labor in the election of 1964, he dedicated the rest of his life at Toynbee Hall as a prodigious fund-raiser, chairman and president.
