Kiki Smith is a leading figure in the New York art scene for over 20 years creating works whose peculiar magic ranges from dark, unsettling potency to a mystical air of enchantment and has explored issues of feminity, spirituality, and mortality. From December 2003 to March 2004, the Museum of Modern Art in New York City mounted a major retrospective of Smith's print's and multiples, entitled 'Kiki Smith: Prints, Books, and Things'.

Lynn Nottage: Playwright

Lynn Nottage, a playwright, is a visiting lecturer on playwriting at the Yale School of Drama and a member of New Dramatists and the Artists Advisory committee of the New York Foundation for Arts. She is appreciated for her spirit and style of playwright, as she approaches the grimmest subjects with high-spiritedness.

Aaron Cometbus, an icon in both the punk scene and world of independent publishing, is one of America's most prolific and well-known underground authors. His second novel, 'Lanky love story' composed of short fragments, as Cometbus #47, was published in late 2001 that was the first perfect-bound issue of the zine.
