Wilson is former president of the Ms. Foundation for Women and the co-founder and president of the White House Project (WHP), a national, nonpartisan organization dedicated to fostering the entry of women into leadership positions in the US. She is a recipient of the Robert W. Scrivner Award for Creative Grantmaking, the Leadership for Equity and Diversity (LEAD) Award from Women & Philanthropy.

Sharon Darling, founder and president of the National Center for Family Literacy
