Mark Burnett
Article Abstract:
A biography is presented of Mark Burnett, the British-born television producer who was one of the pioneers of reality-based television. Burnett, who served in the British Army Paratroop Regiment, first worked on the international team "Eco-Challenges," and then, in June 2000, produced the first American "Survivor" television series, which had a weekly audience of approximately 20 million.
