Ozzie Guillen, the manger of Chicago White Sox baseball team, was the first Venezuelan born manager in Major League Baseball (MLB). Guillen started his career at White Sox as a player and was known for his steady defense, strategic mind and leadership qualities and when he took over as manger he led White Sox to their first American League trophy since 1959 and first World Series victory since 1917.
