Singh, Sardar Swaran

Indian government official and lawyer Sardar Swaran Singh died on Oct. 30, 1994 in New Delhi, India. He joined the upper house of India's parliament in 1952, occupying several cabinet positions for 23 years. He retired from government service in 1975.
