Wolff is one of America's preeminent short-fiction writers, and author of such works as 'In the Garden of the North American Martyrs' and 'Back in the Woods.' His memoir 'This Boy's Life' portrays his childhood during the 1950s and includes the divorce of his parents and separation from his brother.
