A real beaut!

Article Abstract:

Carvers, facetors and free-hand stone cutters became interested in opal from Opal Butte, OR, when samples were introduced into the market in 1987. The Oregon opals are fascinating because of their clarity and color. Cutters are also enchanted by the mystical scenes depicted by the natural patterns.
