AIDS awareness stamp to be released Dec. 1

The US Postal Service will issue a 29-cent stamp commemorating AIDS awareness on Dec 1, 1993, which is also World AIDS Day. The stamp depicts a red ribbon that symbolizes AIDS awareness. Resources for AIDS information will be printed inside the stamp booklets.

Conservation stamp, print program launched
Article Abstract:
The Ministry of the Environment of Venezuela introduced the first conservation stamp and print program in South America in 1993. The program is designed to raise funds that aid in the protection of wetlands wildlife and plant life.
