Beadnik
Article Abstract:
Barbara Ann Volk's craft is described as a blending of cabochons and stone carvings into beaded designs. The stone centerpieces in her designs determine the colors of the surrounding beads such as a tourmaline set with grey, blue, green and brown beads. Volk has also ventured into ducks and pheasant pelts which has given beadwork an entirely new dimension.
