Article Abstract:

The fan-in-wing concept is tested using a model airplane as a test bed. The fan-in-wing uses the cross-flow generated by the fan to drive air across the wing's surface, providing both thrust and lift. The concept is still weal at low speeds but becomes more efficient as speed increases.
