Canada Post notes frequent flyers to Mexico

Canada's flying animal commemorative stamps honor four migratory animals. They are the hoary bat, monarch butterfly, northern pintail duck, and the belted kingfisher. These animals travel annually between Canada and Mexico. The first day cover will have an Ottawa, Ontario post office cancellation.

Canada Post recognizes high technology
Article Abstract:
On Feb 15, 1996, the four-stamp technology set was issued. Images include, a computer and an eye for the information sector, and a 3D DNA model and canola flower for biotechnology. The aerospace stamp design includes a propeller aircraft, and a Great Lakes ship is part of the fourth design.
