Chasing Rainbows
Article Abstract:
The elusive nature of a rainbow makes it difficult to capture on film. The best time to catch a glimpse of one is when the sun shines after a storm, or when rain clouds are visible in the distance while the sun shines. A tripod and polarizer should be used, and exposures should be bracketed when shooting color slides. Several professional photographers discuss their techniques for photographing rainbows.
