There are various approaches in creating a mold for cuttlebone casting, but carving into the bone is a simple and low tech process. Torch use, together with casting and carving experience, is the key skill in cuttlebone casting. A demonstration on how to do cuttlebone casting, as well as the materials and tools needed in this process, is given.
