The annual event of the Kingston Remote Control Modellers took place on Jun 20-21 in spacious fields in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. A new build-and-fly timed event was introduced, which included maneuvers such as 10 nose-down spins.

Largest indoor RC fun-fly and contest in US history

Article Abstract:

A description is presented of the events which occurred at the indoor fun-fly and contest event held in Texas in May 2001. Over 150 aircraft and 53 pilots competed in 7 classes such as aerobatics, limbo and pylon racing.

Tournament of Champion participants compete in aerobatic contests. The top winner was Chip Hyde, flying a Ultimate aircraft with a Precision Eagle 4.2 engine.
