Article Abstract:
Steve Morris and his friends have built an R/C helicopter with a system that stabilizes the aircraft based on GPS satellite information. It was entered in, and won, the 1995 Aerial Robotics Competition. The 23-lb. helicopter is a modified X-Cell Pro with an O.S. 61-SXH engine.
