Great Britain used swastika on war savings coupon until 1939
Article Abstract:
The swastika was not originally associated with Nazi Germany. It is an ancient symbol of balance and good luck. During the First World War, the UK issued national War Savings coupons and the swastika was used for its symbol. A brief history of the symbol is presented.

Protest raised over erection of memorial statue
Article Abstract:
Harris led the United Kingdom Royal Air Force Bomber Command during World War II, and advocated the bombing campaign that destroyed much of Germany and killed an estimated 500,000 German citizens. A statue of Harris was protested by Germans.
