Forty-four-year-old Diane Egbert is considered an expert in creating and manipulating reticulated surfaces. After surviving cancer, Egbert discovered another facet to creating and marketing her work. Her extravagant use of stones and her designing from the stone outward characterize her creations.

Dorothy McClatchey's permanent exhibit in Atlanta's Fernbank Museum of Natural History began from her habit of storing, collecting and exhibiting jewelry and artifacts in her home in Atlanta, GA. Her constant travel across the globe gave her the chance to collect ornaments and jewelry.
