Article Abstract:

Tibetan coral is confirmed to be a calcite marble as per the evaluations of a simple acid test, done by John S. White. Buddhist rituals consider the coral as a sacred gem along with turquoise and are found everywhere in Tibet, which is a reason which makes it a 'Tibetan coral'.
