Article Abstract:

Fiber optic lighting is used to illuminate the crystals and gems on display at S. R. Perren Gem and Gold Room, in the Royal Ontario Museum. Dr. Robert Gait, curator of the collection, also used fibers to provide the ambient light for the rooms.
