The Berber people of North Africa have a distinct culture of their own, despite attempts by the governments of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya to assimilate them into the Arab culture. The coral and silver jewelry of the Berbers and the craftsmanship that goes into making them are discussed.
