The adjustable-travel volume (ATV) and programmable mixing (PMix) features of computer radios can be very useful for model airplane enthusiasts. ATV can be used to adjust the servo travel while the use of PMix with ATV allows the utilization of two channels to control both aileron and elevator.

The art of the snap roll: New insights on a classic move

The snap roll is done by cornering the sticks for all three controls, the nose of the model moves a long way off the heading of flight in the yaw and pitch axes, and thus model loses lot of energy. The center of gravity and control throws of aileron and rudder are critical for this maneuver.
