Milarite
Article Abstract:
Milarite is a mineral with low refractive index that occurs as a yellow or green crystal. It is mostly found in Brazil, Switzerland, Mexico and Namibia. Although it is rare, the geologies of Russia or China suggest that it could also be discovered there.

The epidote group
Article Abstract:
A description and brief history of the preeminent epidote crystal mine, Knappenwand, in the Austrian Alps, is given. The mine has produced great numbers of beautiful crystals of many sizes. Specimens from other mines are also discussed.

Hexagonite
Article Abstract:
Hexagonite was first discovered in a Fowler, NY, talc mine. It is pink-colored and is classified as a variety of tremolite. That first discovery yielded six sides when cut.
