New medal for classic U.S. exhibits created
Article Abstract:
A new medal depicting George Washington on a three-cent stamp issue of 1851-1857 will be awarded at the Society's open competitions of US classic issues and their histories. The classic period is before 1894. The US Philatelic Classics Society has over 1,200 members.
