Lorenzo Quinn's painting depicting praying hands and a tree in the same shape will be on the United Nations stamp issued on Oct 29, 1993. The 'Tree of Life' represents contemporary concerns for the environment. The UN will also release a limited edition print of the painting.

Finster painting featured on WFUNA FDC

WFUNA commemorates International Peace Day

The WFUNA will issue a first day cover and poster to compliment its stamp honoring International Peace Day on Sep 21, 1993. The design is a reproduction of a painting by Hans Erni, a contemporary Swiss artist. The posters will cost $95 and the covers will cost $10.10.
